Shipping made simple for Shopify with Parcelhub

Due to the high volume of requests for Shopify compatibility, Parcelhub have invested in a bespoke integration to their multi-carrier shipping service.

As with other integrations, it will shorten customers’ label production to a few clicks of a mouse, while retaining full control over every shipment. Additionally, sellers will be able to map services in Shopify, to services within Parcelhub for additional time saving and ease of use.

Using the Parcelhub API, merchants can link their Shopify store to Parcelhub Web Despatch, allowing them to view any orders that have been paid for, or not yet fulfilled. The Shopify integration will also enable customers to set up specific rules for domestic and international shipments.

“Keeping a similar interface to our other eCommerce platform integrations, our Shopify integration has been designed with ease of use in mind. Unfulfilled paid orders are pulled from Shopify and set to a service based on weight and destination of the order. Once happy with the service selection, merchants can book their shipments, pass tracking numbers to Shopify, and mark them as fulfilled, all at the click of a button. To aid their picking process, there is even the option to produce a pick list that will print the labels on a scan.”
– Chris Knowlson, Software Developer at Parcelhub

With more than 200,000 merchants worldwide, Shopify is one of the largest web solutions on the market offering an attractive audience for ParcelHub to target. With a large range of carrier partners, including Yodel, Hermes, DPD, UK Mail, DHL, Whistl, UPS, DX, Parcelforce, CollectPlus, SkyNet, Panther Logistics, Direct Link and Palletforce, ParcelHub is also an attractive option for Shopify small business retailers enabling them to access a larger range of domestic and international couriers then they would likely be able to access with their own courier accounts.
