Amazon FBA New Selection new and expanded benefits

No primary category set

Amazon are building on the success of FBA New Selection by offering new and expanded benefits in 2022. FBA New Selection offers benefits on storage, removal and new branded products to help you accelerate early sales. After you enrol in the programme, you can use these benefits for an unlimited number of new parent ASINs each year.

If you are an existing FBA seller, to participate, you must enrol in the programme. After you enrol, Amazon will determine whether you qualify for the fee waivers based on the eligibility criteria. If you are a new seller who listed your first buyable ASIN and started with FBA in 2022, you will be auto-enrolled into the programme.

5% rebate on sales

As of the 1st of March 2022, Amazon will provide a monthly rebate of 5% on your sales of eligible new-to-FBA parent ASINs for brand owners who complete Brand Registry. The following rebate conditions will be applied to branded new selection:

  • For eligible oversize items, the rebate will apply on up to 30 units per parent ASIN for up to 90 days.
  • For eligible standard-size items, the rebate will apply on up to 50 units per parent ASIN for up to 90 days.
  • For eligible items in the Clothing and Shoes categories, the rebate will apply on up to 100 units per parent ASIN for up to 120 days.

As well as 5% rebate of branded ASIN sales price, other benefits on offer include free shipping to an Amazon warehouse, free storage, free removals and free return processing for a limited time for eligible, new-to-FBA ASINs. You can use these benefits for an unlimited number of new parent ASINs each year.

All rebate benefits are tracked from the date the ASIN is first received at a fulfilment centre.

Global enrolment

Since the 1st of March 2022, you’ll no longer have to enrol in the programme separately for each store where you want to sell. As a result, you’ll only have to enrol once. New Selection benefits will apply automatically to each store where you have an active account and have sent eligible new products to fulfilment centres.
