Ellen Mikals joined eBay’s third party advertising team in November 2018 having previously been in a commercial partnerships role responsible for contract negotiations in the EU market. Ellen has been in digital advertising industry for over 9 years, and started her career in the online gaming sector helping US businesses establish their presence in Europe.
As a regular seller on eBay, Ellen was excited to join the promoted listings team when the opportunity arose. Her focus is launching new promoted listings products across Europe and working on product enhancements that will help sellers of any size to grow their eBay business.
Irene Keay – Senior Manager, Shipping & Logistics
With 20 years’ experience across a breadth of ecommerce supply chain and logistics, Irene has been with eBay’s Shipping team since 2014. She has worked extensively on flagship programmes such as Click and Collect, the Global Shipping Programme and tracking services. Operating through significate challenges in her time at eBay, including Brexit and COVID-19, Irene’s steadfast priority has been enabling marketplace sellers to make their inventory available to more buyers globally.

Rufus Bazley – Head of Seller Success
As Head of Seller Success UK at eBay, Rufus Bazley is responsible for the adoption of promoted listings by Brand, SMBs and Entrepreneurs and their success in generating incremental sales, brand visibility and demonstrating the value that eBay brings to its sellers.
Before joining eBay earlier this year Rufus worked at a number of companies ranging from Affiliate Networks, Advertising Agencies and Tour Operators but most recently at Dynamis the company that own and run BusinessesForSale.com where he was responsible for leading the for SEO, SEM, display, re-targeting, email, CRM, content and brand teams.
Håkan Thyr – Chief Revenue Officer
Håkan Thyr is Chief Revenue Officer at Fruugo. He is responsible for accelerating the growth of the Fruugo marketplace by helping more brands and retailers expand internationally with no risk and minimal effort. Håkan is an ecommerce veteran who launched his first e-commerce site in 1999 and he has been working in the e-commerce space most of the time since. Prior to joining Fruugo, he held roles as Partnerships Director at ChannelAdvisor, COO at Firmstep and Partnerships Director at Bazaarvoice. Håkan holds an MSc from Chalmers University.

Zarina Kanji has been leading Tmall Business Development for health, food, and beverage brands at Alibaba UK & Nordics since September 2018. Zarina is responsible for helping brands enter the Chinese market and build their business by connecting them to the more than 650 million annual active consumers on Alibaba’s platforms. She is based in London. Prior to joining Alibaba, Zarina was Regional Head of Fashion & Sport Brand Partnerships at Lazada Group, Southeast Asia’s leading ecommerce company acquired by Alibaba Group in 2016. She spent the first 10 years of her career as a Buyer for House of Fraser, Ralph Lauren and Jaeger specialising in Luxury womenswear and childrenswear in Europe and the Middle East
