Printful print on demand fulfilment coming to UK

By Chris Dawson October 14, 2021 - 11:12 am

Printful is continuing to expand in Europe and has signed leases for two more print on demand fulfillment centers. Located in Wolverhampton, UK, and Lodz, Poland, the new facilities will add around 200,000 sq. ft. of fulfillment space and create over 100 new jobs during the first year of operations.

Printful runs its operations in 8 in-house facilities around the world, and three of them are in Europe: two in Latvia and one in Spain. The company has grown to a team of over 700 employees in Europe and more than 1,800 people globally. With the increasing demand for ecommerce and Printful fulfillment services, the company is able to continue executing its global expansion strategy by adding two more European facilities.

Print on demand is big business and Printful offer services to print onto clothing, accessories, and home decor. You create your designs and sell them on your website or marketplace and send orders to Printful who print and ship the items to the consumer. Offering over 300 custom products that you can sell, your designs can be printed and shipped worldwide on demand offering significant reach compared to printing inhouse and shipping yourself. This is a business opportunity that’s perfect for a graphic designer rather than someone who wants to source and hold stock, print and ship themselves. It’s effectively a ready made business model and, once the UK fulfilment center is operational, shipping to UK customers will be even quicker.

“We chose the UK as our next location because it’s the largest ecommerce market in Europe. Printful has a loyal and growing base of customers in the UK who have anticipated our UK expansion for a while and we’re thrilled to finally do it. Additionally, it will allow us to significantly shorten shipping times within the UK, making it easy to reach many new customers.”
– Davis Siksnans, CEO & Co-Founde, Printful

Printful are actively hiring and it is estimated that the new fulfillment centers will be operational by the end of this year.
