Dedicated online marketplace for Plymouth sellers goes live

By Lauren Fruncillo July 3, 2021 - 12:05 pm

Reports tell of a new online marketplace called Nipii, launched especially for Plymouth sellers. With over 3,000 products already listed from businesses around the city, it’s clearly a hit.

The Nipii platform is said to offer a virtual shop window and next-day delivery for hard-working business owners looking to better serve new and existing customers in their surrounding area. Customers can use the geo-located search engine to find sellers local to them helping the businesses build on their existing customer base.

It’s no secret that many of the smallest businesses were hit the hardest during the pandemic. Those who called the high street home suddenly had to adapt to a new life online and that wasn’t always easy. Unfortunately, the reality of this drastic turn in shopping habits is that online shopping is stronger than ever and if businesses aren’t adapting and offering that convenience, they’ll be left behind. Research shows that shoppers would support independent retailers if it was convenient and Nipii helps provide customers with that convience in Plymouth.

Selling on Nipii

Plymouth sellers might like to see how selling on Nipii can help them. You can create an account for free and find out more about becoming a vendor here.

  • You’ll only pay when you make a sale and even then that’s only a 10% sellers fee (+2.5% card transaction).
  • If your customers choose to take nipii express delivery or nipii 2-3 day delivery, Nipii will take care of the collection from your store, right the way through to delivery to the customers’ doorstep.
