We’re thrilled today to announce a major Tamebay educational programme for 2021 – Tamebay Live which is sponsored by eBay. Running from the 17th to the 21st of May, the event will be free to attend and is a week long online event.
Designed to help established marketplace business accelerate the growth of their businesses, today we are unveiling a stellar list of speakers running over the five days… and there will be more big names added before Tamebay Live in May, so watch this space for future announcements.
As well as the educational side of Tamebay Live, we know many have been missing the social side of events and being able to meet up with friends and colleagues in the industry. During the full week of Tamebay Live, when you are logged into the event you’ll be able to meet colleagues, chat to industry partners, hang out in our virtual coffee rooms and chat to your hearts content.

Tamebay Live Agenda
We’re incredibly grateful to all Tamebay Live partners and especially to our title sponsor eBay for making this event possible. As well as support from eBay, on each day an industry partner will be joining us to co-host the day, introduce speakers and make sure your questions are asked at the end of each session.
The week has been split into five days each with a different focus and you’ll find sessions each day tailored for marketplace merchants and a stream of events aimed to help retailers and brands manage their marketplace business.
Day 1 – 17th May – Back to Basics
On the first day of Tamebay Live with our co-host Hurricane, we’ll be looking at how you operate your business today and ensure best practice is in place.
Day 2 – 18th May – Growth Day
On the second day we’ll be joined by ecommotors who will introduce speakers discussing how to accelerate the growth of your business and rapidly scale for future success
Day 3 – 19th May – Brand Day
From box shifting to running your own brand – again co-hosted by ecommotors the third day of Tamebay live will look at how to build your own brand for merchants, and for merchants, retailers and brands who already have established labels we’ll be taking a look at how to manage and protect your brand reputation on marketplaces.
Day 4 – 20th May – Cross Border
Thursday will see GFS co-hosting the day as we look at how to expand your business overseas and if you’re already selling cross border what new marketplaces and countries are available to further accelerate your overseas sales.
Day 5 – 21st May – Expanding a marketplace business
There’s a whole world out there beyond marketplaces, so with our co-hosts ShipStation we’ll look at everything from an overview of your entire ecommerce business to selling with Google, seeking investment and potential exit strategies for when you are ready to retire or move on to new projects.
