DPD to host webinar on the challenges of clean air in cities

DPD have announced that they will be hosting a free virtual panel discussion exploring the challenges of clean air in cities, on Thursday 25th February.

The event aims to discuss important matters around the challenges of clean air in cities and the urgent need for better air quality in our urban environments. DPD and other industry leaders will be sharing their latest research and facilitating discussion with a panel of experts.

The panel discussion will be hosted by BBC Radio 5 Live’s Rachel Burden and include: Dr Francis Pope, Professor of Atmospheric Science, University of Birmingham; Oliver Lord, Head of Policy & Campaigns, Environmental Defense Fund; Geraint Davies MP, Chair of APPG – Air Pollution; Olly Craughan, Head of CSR, DPD and Tom Byrne, Head of Sustainability, ASOS. The free to attend event is taking place between 11am and 12:30pm on 25th February and you can register here.

DPD are working hard to bring sustainable delivery to the forefront of their company. They are currently aiming to deliver to 25 of the largest towns and cities in the UK with zero and low-emission delivery means by 2025 and have 700 EVs on the road in the UK.
