By Lauren Fruncillo December 2, 2020 - 2:30 pm

Hits Radio are launching a new online marketplace called My Local Market which will allow businesses to set up a free virtual market stall that consumers can visit from the comfort of their homes. The new platform will support local businesses by giving them a place to widen their reach and broaden their horizons in these uncertain times.

Consumers will be able to choose a location on the map and browse a selection of products from a diverse mix of the best small businesses and according to reports sellers will benefit from free promotion from the Hits Radio networks.

“The build up to this Christmas season is unlike any other we have experienced in modern times, and we want to do everything we can to support local businesses hit hard by the pandemic.

“My Local Market is a way to capture the spirit of the annual Christmas Marketplace virtually, and provide local businesses access to our audiences through the Christmas season and beyond. As a partner to local businesses, we’re proud to provide local traders a helping hand at the end of a very challenging year and spread some virtual Christmas joy.”
– Graham Bryce, Group Managing Director, Hits Radio Network
