Microsoft partner with Indonesian online marketplace Bukalapak
Microsoft has formed a strategic partnership with Indonesian online marketplace Bukalapak to reshape how e-commerce is conducted in the country. Bukalapak will adopt Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud platform and Microsoft will make a strategic investment in the marketplace.
The partnership will leverage Microsoft’s expertise in building a resilient cloud infrastructure to support the Indonesian online marketplace services for more than 12 million micro, small and medium enterprises, and 100 million customers.

- Building resilient infrastructure – Bukalapak will adopt Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud platform to support its more than 6 million online merchants, 6 million offline merchants, and 100 million customers.
- Bridging the digital gap – The companies will explore opportunities to help make the digital world relevant for every individual daily.
- Skilling – Providing digital skills training for Bukalapak employees and their merchants.
