Amazon are getting saucy this Christmas

By Lauren Fruncillo September 14, 2020 - 8:32 pm

Amazon have announced that they are having a saucy Christmas this year as they once again partner with Sauce Shop to bring a limited edition sauce to Amazon.co.uk. This year it’s all about #ChristmasKidchup which means they are looking for the coolest exclusive sauce creation from your kids!

“We’re making another Christmas Ketchup, but this time we’re looking for recipe inspiration from your little rebels. Let their imagination run wild and ask them to share their coolest Christmas sauce creations!”

Fear not, despite Amazon’s interesting name choice for their new competition they won’t be bottling up your kids and selling it on their platform. Instead, they want your children to let their imaginations run wild and think of some interesting sauce ideas for their exclusive sauce. Amazon will then choose one winning idea to become their Christmas Ketchup available exclusively on Amazon.co.uk.

Last year the Amazon and Sauce Shop released the… interesting… Brussels Sprout Ketchup which was chosen for its ‘sweet, nutty flavour and has been blended with cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon to give the tasting notes of braised red cabbage, making it a perfect accompaniment to any Christmas dinner’ The marketing team did well to make ruining your Christmas dinner sound nice.

Now it’s the kids’ turn… which is surprisingly relieving considering it’s highly unlikely we’ll end up with something you’d expect to find in a Bean Boozled Game.

If you have or know some kids who’d like to take part in this year’s Kidchup competition then head to this form and fill it in.
