Small businesses on eBay help Lewis Capaldi get fit and raise money for charity
Lewis Capaldi has kicked off an auction to raise money for suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) where the highest bidder can get their hands on a signed designer track top originally bought from Sheanies Vintage on eBay before being worn by the singer in his latest music video.
Lewis’ support for small businesses is made evident in the remake of the music video for his popular song ‘Before You Go’ which is filled to the brim with different fitness products from eBay stores, all set to help him burn that extra stone put on during lockdown.
“Right now, I think it’s more important than ever that we rally round to support small businesses. That’s why I’m auctioning one of the tops I’m wearing in the ‘Before You Go’ video, with all proceeds from the shirt auction going to the incredible CALM”
– Lewis Capaldi
The video brings attention and sends love to the small businesses that have all been affected in some way by the coronavirus. Lewis Capaldi has always been known for his down to earth and relatable connection with fans and this collaboration with eBay will inspire others to make purchases on eBay and help the mental health of sellers who are feeling the impact of the crisis.
“Lewis has been absolutely brilliant championing the CALM cause and raising funds for our vital helpline services during lockdown and this auction is another example of his generosity. A lot has happened over the last few months, and lockdown has affected our lives in different ways, which is why people are needing CALM and our services more than ever. If you’re struggling to talk to us. CALM’s free and confidential helpline and webchat are available from 5pm to midnight, 7 days a week. We’re here for everyone, no matter what.”
