Yodel renew partnership with Gousto as UK food deliveries rise

Yodel have today announced that their partnership with recipe box company Gousto has been extended in a bid to meet the new demand for home food deliveries.

The renewal shows how the delivery company can provide the adequate service and delivery of perishables for one of the most sought after subscriptions during the COVID-19 crisis. Consumers signing up for food subscription has boomed throughout lockdown in the UK as this research by Visa shows. This renewal also provides more evidence that subscriptions that heighten convenience, in general, are a top priority for consumers even as lockdown measures begin to lift. Yodel claim that since consumers were asked to stay at home there has been a growth in online grocery shopping, with Yodel carrying over 200,000 food deliveries a week.
