UPS have announced the UPS price plans which will see the delivery supplier upping the cost on the international imports later this month.

The move will see US-based merchants spending extra cash from the 22nd of August when importing goods from overseas.

UPS say the international air-import fuel surcharge will increase by 1% for all thresholds. They say these surcharges will continue to be based on the national Average US Gulf Coast Jet Fuel Price and adjusted weekly.

In July, UPS’s delivery counterpart, DHL have also announced raising prices for business customers as of the 1st of September 2019, citing investment and better service as well as ongoing transportation costs as the reason.
