WORLDFIRST can help online sellers to repatriate funds at better exchange rates than the major marketplaces.
Watch again: Making the right choice on where to trade abroad webinar
Last week we held our Making the right choice on where to trade abroad webinar in partnership with WorldFirst. Unfortunately, as this was one of our most popular webinars of the year there were some technical difficulties with the sound for which we apologise. Due to this Craig Agutter from WorldFirst kindly agreed to set some time aside to rerecord the webinar which is now available for you to watch.
We’d like to thank those of you who did stick with us and there were some interesting questions at the end which Craig has answered again, and for those of you who asked for a second look at the slides which are stacked full of data you’ll be able to view this in the rerecording as well.
The webinar whizzed twice around the world to look at the countries offering the most opportunities to online sellers for expansion with indepth looks at each country, the best ways to attack them and insights into what local consumers are looking for along with key dates and holidays to watch out for in each country.
This was the second webinar in our Autumn International Selling webinar series aimed at sellers who have already achieved scale in the UK and are looking at fresh territories to attack. If that’s you, then this is an unmissable webinar and in our third webinar which will be held on the 5th of December we’ll zero in on the marketplaces which can help you expand.
It’s all too easy in the UK to look at Amazon and eBay and think that if you’re successful on these two marketplaces you’ve got all the bases covered… and to some extent in the UK that’s true although even domestically there are niche marketplace well worth exploring. Overseas, even in countries as close as Germany and France eBay and Amazon aren’t the only marketplaces in town and there are many more that you should be considering. Move further abroad and you’ll soon discover that in many countries Amazon don’t even have a country site so getting to grips with other marketplaces is key.
Once again our apologies for the sound quality on the original webinar which was due to our provider, GoToWebinar who had some technical difficulties at the time.
