Great promo! Amazon obviously wants people to shop for Xmas gifts sooner to off-load the capacity right before the real action kicks in 2 weeks before Christmas.
I wonder why they ask for a coupon code though? As it would be nice if they would apply this by default. It’s hard to miss it of course as the information is clearly available on the home page BUT I can totally imagine situations when people don’t apply the coupon, place the order and right after that, they see that there was a free shipping promo. Then they will most likely cancel the original order and place a new one, with the free delivery coupon code applied. Doesn’t sound like a great customer experience to me, lol
People like coupons, it tells them they are getting a bargain.

Lets hope some of them don’t buy off the buy box for some items, I have products listed with only Amazon as the other seller, they have the buy box and are showing 2-3 months delivery.
