If it’s happening this season, it’s happening on eBay 2018 Christmas Adverts

eBay have rolled out a whole series of ads ranging in time from 7 to 30 seconds.

The ads are designed to show the breadth and diversity of products available on eBay with everything from retro to red hot deals. Gone is the Fill your cart with colour theme and in comes the latest trends, hottest toys and one of a kind gifts that you can’t buy anywhere else.

“eBay’s new holiday creative highlights the unique spirit and dynamic nature of the brand – from amazing deals on the hottest items to the super-special and nostalgic to one-of-a-kind gifts that give back. Our brand reflects what’s happening in the world and is a barometer for what’s trending right now. Whether it’s fashion, entertainment, tech or toys, inspiration is everywhere, and only eBay makes it instantly shoppable throughout the entire season.”
– Suzy Deering, chief marketing officer for eBay Americas and global brand lead

To kick off the holiday season, eBay have launched a series of daily “First Minute” deals on the hottest gifts across tech, gaming, home goods and fashion – and every deal includes free shipping. Each day at 5 am PT from November 1- 11, eBay will unveil new, limited-time deals on eBay.com/Deals, available only until they sell out.

Amazon Can You Feel It 2018 Christmas Adverts

Amazon’s 2018 Christmas Adverts revolve around The Jackson’s ‘Can you Feel It’ with everyone from Amazon employees to Amazon Alexa, Amazon Lockers and Amazon Robots all getting in on the act.

Naturally for Christmas, having covered the big city screen shots from a train station, delicatessen and construction workers on scaffolding it ends with the magic of a child going to bed. The city turns out to be her snow globe and softly singing a lullably is an Amazon box on her bedroom dresser.

Amazon’s 90 second advert appeared first in the UK on the 3rd of November and will roll out across the US, Germany Austria, France, Italy, Spain and Canada.
