Lounge Underwear appoints Statement to drive ecommerce conversion

By Dan Wilson July 27, 2018 - 11:16 am

Lounge Underwear, an online lingerie brand that creates comfortable underwear designed to make its customers ‘look and feel sexy’, has appointed Statement to deliver a conversion rate optimisation project. Statement is a specialist Shopify Plus ecommerce agency based in the north of England.

Following record sales of £2.7m after just two years of trading and projected sales of up to £6m, Lounge has extended their relationship with Statement, which has offices in Leeds, Manchester and Wakefield, to boost conversion rate and sales whilst improving the user journey across the Lounge sites.

Building on a successful relationship which has seen Statement implement website updates, redesign the site’s blog and continue to deliver ongoing Shopify Plus support, Statement will now work to improve the site’s user-friendly experience utilising heatmaps and other data analysis tools, driving the company’s growth and ensuring the site is conversion-ready.

Statement has already completed several projects for Lounge, which have been instrumental in our success; this combined with their experience of working with high growth online retailers made them the perfect partner for this project. Their knowledge of Shopify Plus, which offers the functionality that helps stores grow quickly, is exemplary and we know that their experience and expertise will help us to strengthen our brand and business.
– Melanie Paradise, co-founder of Lounge Underwear

The agency explains what it will be doing for Lounge Underwear:

Lounge Underwear is growing at an exponential rate.In under two years they have moved from a grass roots business, which started out with an investment of just £1,000, all the way up to the high-growth online retailer that is projected to turn over up to £6m in only their third year. By managing the conversion rate optimisation project, we will be able to understand specifically how Lounge customers use the site and how we are able to improve the user journey to boost conversion rates and sales.
