Selro add Wowcher integration

By Chris Dawson April 11, 2018 - 10:30 am

Multichannel management tool Selro have integrated with Wowcher bringing their total number of marketplace integrations to 18 supplementing 10 ecommerce store connectors and 19 carrier connectors.

Wowcher, as a daily deals site, is an interesting integration and a somewhat different proposition to Selro’s more traditional marketplace roster which unsurprisingly includes eBay, Amazon and Etsy along with Flubit, Tesco, Fruugo and Notonthehightstreet in the UK. If you want to expand further into Europe or the US then they’ve got a raft of other marketplaces for you to attack too.

Unlike traditional marketplaces, Wowcher won’t be for everyone as they’re expecting to offer their subscribers deeep discount short time daily deals. This means you’ll have to offer a hot price and have inventory available to satisfy demand.

One of the attractions of Wowcher is getting your brand in front of consumers that may never have heard of you before. Businesses pay nothing up front, if they don’t sell anything, they don’t pay anything. It’s free advertising for you, even if customers don’t purchase a Wowcher, you still get exposure. They are also willing to negotiate with you on the number of deals available and the revenue share that you will receive for any Wowchers redeemed at your business. Even better, they are open to agreeing a minimum number of customers; if they don’t get enough deals sold then they don’t charge you anything.

With some forms of marketing, it can be hard to measure the value of your marketing efforts. With Wowcher, you can see results on the day your deal is featured and can generate a steady stream of business for months to come.

If you’re interested in selling on Wowcher, you can contact them by email at getfeatured@wowcher.co.uk. If you’d like to know more about Reading based Selro then they have a free 14 day trial available.
