Royal Mail miss 1st and hit 2nd Class post targets in Q3
Royal Mail’s latest Quality of Service report reveals for the first three quarters of the financial year 2017-18, 92.5% of First Class mail was delivered the next working day, half a percent under their target of 93.0%. 91.5% of First Class mail was delivered the next working day in the third quarter of the year.
0ver the nine months to the 3rd of December 2017, Second Class mail has exceeded its regulatory Quality of Service target for the first three quarters of the financial year 2017-18. 98.% of this mail was delivered within three working days, against a target of 98.5%, according to independent research3 98.6% of Second Class mail was delivered within three working days in the third quarter of the year.

The latest quarterly report for 2017-18 covers the period from 25 September 2017 to 3 December 2017.
Not bad, I am happy with those figures for my deliveries and think my customers are happy with the speed of deliveries.
90% of our mail goes out 2nd class
Mail sent out on a Saturday is usually delivered on a Monday and during the week we often have items delivered the next day despite them being 2nd class.
I had a special delivery parcel arrive this morning that was not due till Monday, as the sender had not paid for Saturday delivery.
