We spoke to Michael Näther (pictured below with Michael Kirsch) who founded logicsale to find out more:
Who are logicsale?
I studied Business Administration in Cologne, Germany, and I also worked as a Graphic Designer for eBay sellers. One day a vendor told me he knew about a software for price optimization and asked me to develop something similar for him. I thought it was a really good idea and discussed it with my former classmate Michael Kirsch about developing a repricing software for Amazon and eBay sellers.
In 2009 we founded logicsale Europe Ltd. Kirsch started speaking to potential customers and I started developing the software. Within a month we already had our first 20 customers (including the vendor who had the idea) and hired our first employees. At the beginning we only offered the software in the German market and then we expanded to the British, Italian, French, American and Canadian market. Today logicsale pushes the sales of 3,000 e-commerce providers.
What do you do?
We help Amazon retailers stay competitive with their prices and stay up to date with competitors’ pricing and pricing trends so they can increase margins, sales, and market share. With our software, sellers are able to set price ranges for their goods and the software changes them quickly and effectively according to market fluctuations, such as competitor prices, demand, etc.
What are the main features and benefits?
Our software optimizes prices every five minutes – competitors are under continuos observation. Pricing rules can be set via CSV file or by using the 1-Click Pricing option, which quickly sets ranges for the entire inventory based on the current online price. Then, the software automatically adjusts prices in order to maximize profit and sends the market price changes through a direct connection with Amazon‘s API Server.
The Potential View identifies potential outside the minimum and maximum ranges; and FBA Expert Mode distinguishes between your FBA and FBM inventory. In combination, this features will help retailers increase margins, sales, and BuyBox ownership, all while staying competitive.
What sets you aside from your competitors?
Besides our innovative features, I would say that one of our biggest strengths is our unlimited ongoing expert technical support. This is complimentary with us; however, other repricing companies require customers to pay up to 200 USD/GBP/EUR per month. At logicsale, customers aren’t just a number – each customer is assigned to an Account Manager; this is the reason logicsale is able to provide the best possible service.
Furthermore, our software has a clear, organized interface and is very user friendly. The entire process is web-based so customers can easily access and customize their data from anywhere and at anytime.
