Amazon India says the sale will have offers on devices from brands like Apple, OnePlus, Samsung, 10.or, BPL, Micromax, TCL, Lenovo, HP, Philips, LG, Whirlpool, McAfee and Kaspersky among others. During the ‘Amazon Great Indian Sale’, special discounts will also be available on the Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Paperwhite Starter Pack, Fire TV Stick, eBooks and more.

And in anticipation of the Great Indian Sale, Amazon India is bringing in thousands of staff specifically to cope with the demand. 6500 temp jobs will be created. Amazon India Vice President (Customer Fulfilment) Akhil Saxena says “This enhancement will be instrumental in driving an exceptional experience during the upcoming Great Indian Sale. These thousands of associates will help in augmenting our capabilities to serve our customers better and enable us to deliver consistently high levels of customer experience.” The fulfilment and customer support jobs have been created in metropolitan areas such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru and others.
