Amazon have rolled out their Amazon Music Unlimited subscription offering to 28 more countries around the world.
What’s more interesting is that the Amazon Echo will begin to ship to these new countries enabling (in Amazon’s own words) “customers who purchase devices the ability to experience Amazon Music Unlimited with the power and simplicity of natural voice controls in English, powered by Alexa, Amazon’s cloud-based voice service”.
Amazon Music Unlimited plans

Why is Amazon Music Unlimited important?
Amazon’s plan for conquering the retail world is to offer a ton of additional features and benefits, often for free or at least at attractive price points. That’s what they’d doing with music and why they’re keen for ever more households to install Echo devices and start talking to Alexa.
Rolling out to 28 new countries isn’t simply about getting a few music subs in and selling some Echo hardware. It’s all designed to get consumers in these new countries hooked into the Amazon family and hopefully turn them into Amazon Prime subscribers spending money on their nearest country site.
