eBay’s mission is to be the world’s favourite destination for discovering great value and unique selection
This Morning Live opens with Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and eBay
eBay took prime position at the debut of This Morning Live, at the NEC in Birmingham this week. As partners of ITV’s flagship daytime show, eBay will provide guests the chance to hear tips from style experts whilst discovering the top fashion and beauty trends to look out for this summer.
A replica of the regular This Morning London studio has been built at the event in Birmingham complete with eBay branding where Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield opened the event.
This morning live is running from Thursday 18th until Sunday 21st May, the eBay stand will feature prominently within the event hall, offering visitors the chance to nail their manicure with a fleet of expert technicians. Indulging guests in a spot of pampering, express treatments will be made available in one of four seasonal trend colours, selected by our fashion experts.
The stand will also give visitors the chance to upgrade their social feed; primed to dazzle friends and followers. Visitors will be introduced to the eBay profile studio, where participants can professionally perfect their profile image with the help of some digital magic.
The marketplace will also present the main stage activity across the four days, featuring a stylish suite of This Morning experts; guiding guests with wardrobe hacks, trend tips and style tricks for successful shopping this season. Spectators can keep an eye out from some of the best new products available on ebay.co.uk/fashion.
I like events like this as it puts eBay front and centre of people’s mind. It’s not a hard sell, it’s a chance for enthusiastic visitors to get their nails done and experiment with some of eBay’s virtual reality dressing room tech to try on different outfits and styles. Engaging visitors in a fun exciting way is a sure fire way to make sure that next time they think of fashion they think of eBay.
The aim is to position the marketplace as the number one destination in the UK for fashion and to demonstrate it doesn’t matter if you want a £30 summer dress, a £500 handbag or a £2.50 nail varnish, you’ll find it on eBay.
“eBay Fashion offers Brits an exciting shopping haven full of instant inspiration. This Morning Live is the perfect partner as it allows us to connect directly with a diverse range of shoppers. Our aim is to always inspire customers and allow them to find exactly what they are looking with confidence; this partnership with This Morning Live provides a brilliant platform to do exactly that.”
