About Amazon Academy
About Amazon Academy

If you want to get started on Amazon, or develop your operations on that massive marketplace, then the Amazon Academy is a vital event for you.

Previously held in London, it's now heading to Manchester. It's an event held by Enterprise Nation and the Guardian Small Business Network and it has an enviable line up.

Last time Amazon UK MD Doug Gurr was there speaking alongside other experts and the Manchester event looks equally useful. To find out more, check out the event page.

And to get a flavour of the event, here's a video from the last London date:

Here's what they say of the event: "In the morning, you'll be able to find out how you can make the most of the digital opportunity as a small business, with insight from Amazon; Emma Jones, founder of Enterprise Nation, as well as other independent experts.

Following a networking lunch, in the afternoon session attendees will be given practical advice on:

- How to build their digital capabilities and expertise to boost revenue, geographic reach and productivity
- How to boost export sales and go global through Amazon Marketplace
- How Amazon Launchpad can help start-ups bring innovative new products to market
- How to use cloud computing to be lean, fast and agile through Amazon Web Services
- How to reach new customers through Alexa, Amazon's exciting new cloud-based voice service"
