If you sell to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, or the US States Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia then you should be aware that there is significant disruption following this weekend’s hurricane which to make it sound more friendly is called Hurricane Matthew.

Somewhere approaching 1,000 people are known to have been killed by the hurricane and the Red Cross has launched an emergency appeal to help the Haitian communities devastated by the weather.

eBay have said “Our hearts go out to all those affected by Hurricane Matthew” and promised to protect any sellers impacted with late deliveries or disgruntled buyers saying “Rest assured that sellers need not worry about their eBay seller performance due to delays caused by the storm. We will continue to monitor these conditions and include any sellers who may be affected“.
