Magento launches holiday analytics dashboard

By Dan Wilson September 8, 2016 - 10:30 pm

screen-shot-2016-09-08-at-22-27-47Cloud based ecommerce platform supplier Magento has launched a new dashboard for the Christmas/holiday with the aim of giving sellers more insights into what’s working in the critical seasonal selling period.

Head of Magento Analytics Bob Moore says: “The holiday season represents a tremendous customer acquisition and growth opportunity for merchants but if they are not keeping an eye on the right data, they can get caught up in the hype and negatively impact gross margins. With the Magento Holiday Dashboard, we’ve made it easier than ever for merchants to deploy data-driven strategies to grow their business before, during, and well beyond the holiday season.”

Here are some the benefits that Magento says the new tool offers:

– Find the acquisition channels attract the most valuable holiday customers
– Reactivate existing customers with targeted holiday promotions
– Keep your team focused on centralized goals during the busiest time of the year
– Compare your holiday performance against industry benchmarks
