eBay Promoted ListingsChannelAdvisor have announced that they have become the first e-commerce solution provider to support eBay promoted listings.

eBay Promoted Listings are a way to get more eyeballs on your listings, but comes at a cost – you select an additional percentage of the final value as your bid to have your listing promoted, which you then pay if your listing sells in addition to the normal final value fees.

Using ChannelAdvisor, retailers and brands can efficiently create and manage promoted listing campaigns to deliver ads for products that are tailored to consumer searches. Consumers who click on the ad are taken directly to the eBay product detail page where they can purchase the product.

It’s no real surprise that ChannelAdvisor are first to support eBay promoted listings – One of ChannelAdvisor’s key differentials has always been their Digital Marketing and Paid Search capabilities. ChannelAdvisor Digital Marketing uses your inventory product feed as a source of truth for product attributes, stock status and prices. It dynamically generates keywords and ad copy, keeps ad status in sync with stock, provides robust keyword-discovery tools and in-depth performance metrics across tracked channels and devices.

Plugging their Digital Marketing technology into eBay Promoted Listings makes a lot of sense for ChannelAdvisor and gives their merchants an edge in getting their products seen on the eBay marketplace.
