Welcome to Tamebay’s new server

By Chris Dawson March 3, 2016 - 7:15 pm

If you’re seeing this then you’ve found Tamebay on our shiny new server!

We’re going to leave the techs to check everything over and there’s a few tidying up jobs left for them to do. You might notice a few dodgy URLs and fonts that don’t quite look right and our email needs fixing but we’ll have everything put back in it’s place soon. In the mean time you’re welcome to start commenting again.

As we said earlier, Tamebay is going to undergo a total site redesign in the near future and we’ll be sharing our plans for that soon and asking for your input on how you use the site and how we could improve it for the future. We’re looking forward to growing Tamebay for the future and hope you’ll continue to be a part of the community.

My default start to everyday is:-

    1. Coffee / kick the dog.
    2. Read the red tops.
    3. Flick on Sky News.
    4. Fire up the PC.
    5. Read the latest ‘Posts from Tamebay’ email.
    6. Try and avoid the wife.

Wishing you chaps a winning 2016.

Any chance you can add a LIKE button like Facebook have, and then maybe some quick comments buttons with pre-entered text like,

eBay is not working again today
eBay Deny any problems on their site
    eBay is cr*p
eBay adds more ways to earn you a defect

    Any more?
This would save us so much time ?

Like button is on the wish list!

Prefilled comments… would hate to put words in your mouth 😛

How about a devon wenig translator?
it posts the original comment, but with “laser-focused” and other nonsense randomly inserted throughout?

Now there’s some blue-sky-thinking that’s bound to engage customers and offer best-in-class, clientcentric solutions that will maximise profitability and promote synergy.

I could do an Iphone app for free as long as you keep the good stuff posted. You all can get notifications onto your phones 🙂

The only thing extra I would want from you guys is a mobile phone friendly website.

Hi Robert, rest assured that a mobile friendly website is top of the list of priorities for the redesign 🙂
