payleven add telephone payments feature

paylevenpayleven have launched a new feature – the introduction of an over the phone payment service: payleven Telephone Payments. This is in addition to their card reader service.

The announcement highlights payleven’s vision to become the first multi-channel payment provider for SMEs. All transactions, irrespective of the channel, are processed on the same, proprietary platform which enables payleven to offer small businesses to take payments the way that works best for their individual needs.

As of now, businesses using payleven across Europe are able to accept payments securely over the phone and process them directly online in their payleven account, using only the card details, without the card holder being present.

Following an invite only beta trial with a select number of customers, the feedback has been outstanding. Merchants using it have found it simple, intuitive and have seen a real benefit to their business – with transaction volume on average up 10% for users.
