How does Etsy search work?

By Dan Wilson January 25, 2016 - 6:20 am

If you’re an Etsy seller then you might want to know how Etsy’s search works. And very conveniently Etsy has taken the time to lay out exactly what counts and matters as they present items to potential buyers.

We link to the information below and much of it’s very straightforward and interesting. They lay out the importance of tag and titles as well as give pointers on how to optimise your performance in a concise manner.

Wouldn’t it be refreshing if eBay took a similar tack and did the same? Such transparency seems like little more than common courtesy to hard working sellers who spend a load of wedge making listings and seeking buyers.

Here is the Etsy search crib sheet.
