3P Logistics gears up for 2016 with new £2m contracts

By Chris Dawson December 20, 2015 - 5:33 pm

Christmas isn’t quite here, but we’re already hearing about new wins for 3P Logistics, a UK fulfilment service who have announced two new contracts worth over over £2m for 2016.

The new clients are: Cordstrap UK who have over 50 years of protecting the world’s cargo – Cordstraps’ innovative products are trusted by over 25,000 businesses worldwide; and Trueshopping Group Formed in 2003 – Trueshopping supply goods worldwide to hundreds of thousands of delighted customers and believe in helping everyone afford luxury.

Ian Walker, founder and MD, 3P Logistics told us: “There is a growing acceptance amongst the National & International business community that a fully outsourced supply chain is the way to go. The use of a third party logistics provider has been pretty common place for many years amongst the blue chip manufacturing and retail fraternity and we are now seeing a broad curiosity and acceptance to outsourcing at SME Level. Providing you find the right logistics partner then outsourcing really does work and the benefits can be significant to the user”.

Fulfilment is just one part of an ecommerce operation, hopefully by now you’re almost ready to wind down for the Christmas break and get a little rest and relaxation. We’d love to hear what’s gone well for you this year, what you’re looking to change in 2016 and what tools or services you’re considering using.

Are you looking for a fulfilment partner, is there a task you want a software tool to automate? Are you going to launch your first website or are you looking at overseas expansion? What are your plans for growth in 2016?
