Volusion now allows Amazon Payments on US webstores

Merchants who sell using ecommerce webstore platform Volusion can now enable Pay with Amazon. This means that Amazon buyers can pay on third party websites with Amazon Payments, using payment and shipping information stored in their Amazon account.

You can read about the new facility on Volusion shops here.

As they say in the blog post: “What this means for you:

– Make the web’s best customers your customers by making it easy for the hundreds of millions of Amazon customers to shop on your website.
– Help increase customer loyalty by streamlining the checkout experience on your website, and on mobile with our responsive web templates.
– You retain full control of your customer relationship. Product-level order data is never captured or shared with Amazon.”

Currently the service is only available to US merchants but we would hope it will be extended to European Volusion users soon.
