Barclaycard to close Bespoke Offers on Monday

By Chris Dawson October 25, 2015 - 6:40 pm

Barclaycard are to close their Bespoke Offers platform putting 112 jobs at risk. This will also have an impact on Flubit who spent time and resource integrating with Bespoke Offers and exposing their retailers on the Barclaycard platform.

Launched in May 2013, Barclaycard used Flubit’s technology and platform on its bespoke offers website to create “Beat my Price” private, personalised prices for UK online shoppers. Whilst this is by no means the largest part of Flubit’s business, it’s likely to be a disappointment to lose a high profile partner.

The Barclaycard Best Offers website is expected to close tomorrow, Monday the 26th of October 2015. Barclaycard have said that a decision to close the platform came after “a detailed review of the financial performance of the business to date and against their potential to deliver acceptable returns in the future“.

FlubitIf you were a Barclaycard Bespoke Offer Beat My Price user, our best advice is of course to go directly to Flubit where you can find the exact same (and the original) service. Flubit will allow you to enter the Amazon URL of any product you wish to buy and create an offer with a better price for the same item.

Edited to add: Barclaycard Bespoke Offers are now official closed down
