Enterprise Nation and PayPal will be holding an event in London next week that will look at trading successfully with Chinese buyers online. The event on the 15th September will be held at Somerset House.

PayPal will be represented by Melissa O’Malley who is PayPal’s Director of Global Merchant and Cross-Border Trade Initiatives.

As they say in the blurb: “Chinese consumers have increasing buying power and many are looking for British made and designed products. Every day in China, 55,000 new babies are born and every year, 10 million weddings get underway. That’s a lot of fashion, jewellery, cosmetics, toys and gifts to be bought. This explosive growth of China’s emerging middle class has brought big opportunities for UK businesses. PayPal recently launched a global programme – China Connect – and in partnership with Enterprise Nation would like to invite you to attend this event to learn about China and maximise the opportunity from selling into this market.”
