Amazon Fresh bags Surrey warehouse. It seems.

By Dan Wilson August 14, 2015 - 10:52 am

Amazon may be closer to offering grocery deliveries using its Amazon Fresh brand than we originally thought. Apparently they have taken out a lease on a premises in Surrey already. Amazon Fresh is currently only available in some areas of the US.

According to reports, the premises they will start operating from are in Weybridge and were formerly occupied by Tesco. They moved out at the end of 2014 but apparently the premises, leased from Logicor, still has some food-handling facilities such as chiller cabinets that could be very handy for the new tenants.

According to IGD’s ShopperVista Channel Focus report We reported on this possible Amazon Fresh development a few weeks back. Would you go to Amazon for your weekly shopping delivery?
