eBay Valet launches designer clothing service

By Dan Wilson June 4, 2015 - 11:41 pm

US eBay service eBay Valet (which sells things on your behalf) is expanding into clothing. Fashion is big news for eBay and now you can seller your frocks as well as shoes, handbags, electronics and homewares.

Marcelle Parrish, head of fashion at eBay Marketplaces said: “Fashion is one of the top categories on eBay globally; in fact, a dress sells every second and a pair of shoes sells every two seconds. The expansion of eBay Valet in the fashion category delivers access to experts who will showcase clothing in the best possible light, in front of one of the largest online shopping audiences.”

eBay has published a price guide for owners of brand items that might want to sell using eBay Valet.

Here’s a video that explains how eBay Valet works. But basically, you send your stuff in and bag up to 80% of the sale price.

Is this service fulfilled by eBay or do you become a valet and offer this as a service on eBay?

Note. I do not want to be a valet. Ever.

This service is fulfilled by eBay Valet, which is the professional selling service on eBay.

      Hope this helps!
