Small business and start-up group Enterprise Nation are holding a hackathon for developers with the aim of creating apps and services that will make it easier for online sellers of digital goods to comply with the new EU VAT rules that were introduced on January 1st 2015 and are commonly referred to as VATMOSS.

We’ve written about VATMOSS several times before here on Tamebay.

The hackathon will take place on Wednesday 13 May, from 5 to 10pm, at KPMG offices in Canary Wharf and A £1,000 cash prize from KPMG is on offer to the developer who can come up with a solution. KPMG will also offer support to get the product to market.
