Lengow Start-up Spotlight Competition

By Chris Dawson April 15, 2015 - 10:30 am

The Lengow Ecommerce Day will be back for the third year in Paris on the 2nd June 2015. After the success of the event in 2014, this year over 700 attendees are expected to attend! In addition to the event’s usual format of conferences, partner workshops and round table discussions, Lengow will also be running the international Start-up Spotlight Competition for the first time.

Start-up Spotlight Competition

Start-Up SpotlightFounded six years ago in a small living room in Nantes, France, Lengow was created by two web entrepreneurs with a single goal: to make online selling simple. Now, the company wants to give back to other start-ups by organising the Lengow Start-up Spotlight Competition.

The competition is open to any start-ups with a product or service which is revolutionising the ecommerce world. Out of all entries ten will be shortlisted and a public vote via social media will decide the five finalists. The final five will have the opportunity to pitch their concept during a five minute presentation in front of an audience of over 700 ecommerce professionals and journalists at the Lengow Ecommerce Day. A jury of investors and ecommerce experts will select the winner on the day.

How to enter

Entry is free and to be in with a chance of winning, start-ups need to complete the online entry form before the 22nd April.

To be eligible start-ups must meet 3 conditions:

  • Propose an ecommerce solution
  • Be no older than 2 years
  • Have a turnover of less than €1 million in the last year

Why enter?

The Start-up Spotlight Competition is an opportunity for companies to showcase what they have to offer in front of a qualified audience of merchants, industry experts and media. The 5 finalists will have an exhibitor stand at the Lengow Ecommerce Day and opportunities to meet with retailers, ecommerce professionals and potential investors.
