Quicker sign-up for SMEs who want to integrate PayPal

By Dan Wilson November 11, 2014 - 4:02 am

It’s another example of how the acquisition of Braintree is continuing to pay-off for PayPal. Last week they announced they’re rolling out a new, pretty much instant sign-up flow for Europe-based businesses who want to accept PayPal on their websites.

It means that new sellers with their own website can integrate with Braintree’s v.zero SDK and immediately start accepting payments with just an email address, company URL and short business description. PayPal claim that the new system will take just ten minutes.

They say it will now be easier than it has ever been to get a business up and running online. As an additional incentive, if you sign up this way you can accept your $50,000 USD-equivalent free of any fees. You can find out more on the PayPal blog here.
