Internet Retailing ConferenceInternet Retailing Conference 2014 is fast approaching with John Lewis, House of Fraser and Zalando being a trio of multichannel leaders who will share their visions for the future of multichannel when they keynote at the event next month

Mark Lewis, Online Director at John Lewis, Andy Harding, Executive Director of Multichannel at the House of Fraser and Jérôme Cochet, Senior Vice President of Sales at Zalando will start the day by sharing their visions for the future of the multichannel industry and explain how their brands have led the transformation and evolution of the retail landscape.

The 2014 Internet Retailing Conference will champion the theme of ‘Re-foundationing’, with delegates learning how retail needs to start afresh from the bottom, rather than incrementing, tweaking and avoiding the wholesale changes needed in the industry.

The conference will investigate, analyse and debate the learnings, innovations and trends supporting the focus of re-foundation and transformation and bring together learnings from those who have started again and benefited from it, along with those willing to share the challenges with delegates wishing to remain in the leadership group.

With top speakers from Thomas cook, John Lewis, Dressipi, Waitrose, Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mothercare, Sainsburys and more, visitors will hear and learn from the best to stay ahead of the multichannel game and exceed the expectations of the multichannel customer.

Speaking ahead of the conference, Keynote Andy Harding of House of Fraser, said: “We’re doing things that try to be different but at the same time not doing something for the sake of being different. It’s got to add value, have a purpose. I think with regards to the design philosophy, this is born out of customer need and demand rather than our desire to do something different from everybody else.”

The Internet Retailing Conference is taking place on October 14th 2014 at the Novotel, Hammersmith, London.
