My Parcel Delivery has secured £500k investment to help it grow the business. Online parcel delivery comparison website My Parcel Delivery only recently bagged £1m.

The additional funds come from Seneca Partners which has made the investment from its Enterprise Investment Scheme fund earmarked for profitable, growing businesses.

Richard Manley, a director at Seneca Partners, said: “We consider My Parcel Delivery a good investment with its proven concept, growing turnover, profitability and excellent leadership. We are certainly excited to be working with them.”

David Grimes, managing director of My Parcel Delivery, says of the cash injection: “This latest investment reflects the confidence that the funding community has in both My Parcel Delivery’s growth potential and the scale of the opportunity that exists in the ecommerce and delivery logistics market.”

“Our current plans for building a winning team and technology will have a major impact on the shipping industry, especially at a time of rapid growth in the ecommerce market and the need for affordable, high quality delivery technology and services.”

My Parcel Delivery sends more than 600,000 parcels via its website per year across the UK and worldwide in partnership with leading courier companies including DPD, City Link, Parcelforce, Hermes and DX.
