Would you order Christmas Eve for same day delivery?

Amazon have extended the last order date for Christmas deliveries via Free Super Saver Delivery service to Thursday 19th December for UK customers.

There’s also still time to sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime and receive One-Day Delivery on millions of items in time for Christmas. The last order date for Christmas delivery with Amazon Prime is 11am on 23rd December.

For those who wish to leave it to the very last minute, customers in eligible areas can order up to 9.30am on Christmas Eve for delivery later that day with Amazon’s Evening Delivery service.

The last order dates for Christmas deliveries for items shipped by Amazon are:

  • By 9:30am on 24th December, using Evening Delivery
  • By 11am on 23rd December for Prime members (or One Day Delivery)
  • By midnight on 20th December for First Class Delivery
  • By 7pm on 19th December for UK Free Super Saver Delivery

I’m not sure I’d risk leaving buying my Christmas presents until Christmas Eve, even if I did live in one of the eligible delivery areas. If you’re brave enough to try it ordering Christmas Eve morning, we’d love to know if your gifts arrive safely on Christmas Eve evening in time to wrap and put under the tree for Christmas day.
