Intuit CompetitionIntuit Quickbooks and Start Up Britain are running a competition and will be granting 11 wishes to small businesses. If you’re a small business owner that could do with a helping hand to improve your business then this is for you.

Simply submit your business wish before the 11th of December and then share you wish with everyone you know and everybody who loves your business and ask them to vote for you. Winners will be selected from the submissions which receive the most votes.

There are ten £1000 prizes and one £5000 prize, one prize every 15 days while the competition runs. Everyone can vote for you once per day, so make sure you remind your friends to keep voting.

Leith Tea CompanyIf you’re not going to enter then we’ve picked a great business for you to vote for. We met Michelle who runs the Leith Tea Company at the iwoca Meetup in Edinburgh. They’ve got a wish to set up a social cafe, place for the local community and beyond to come along and make crafts, share a warm cup of tea on a cold day and just have a place they can call their own.

Vote for the Leith Tea Company on Facebook, lets see if we can get a company we know to win one of the prizes.
