The 5000 Royal Baby Princess plate mistake

By Chris Dawson August 9, 2013 - 12:27 pm

Royal Baby Princess PlateWhat do you do when you were so convinced that the Royal Baby was going to be a Princess that you had 5000 made up? You’d probably be feeling even more glum if you’d stuck “2013” on the plates so that even if a future Princess is born they’ll be out of date.

Our chums at Wholesale Clearance (brave souls that they are!) decided to buy the entire shipment from the local firm who are doubtless ruing the inside tip on the gender of the royal baby they received from a supposedly reputable source.

The story has been widely reported in the national press, and if you want to item Wholesale Clearance are auctioning one on eBay for Charity to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
