By Chris Dawson March 25, 2013 - 11:14 am

Cadbury Creme EggsEaster is just around the corner so it’s no surprise to see Easter Eggs on eBay’s Daily Deals this week. Star deal of the day is a box of .

The price of Creme Eggs seems to be up generally up this year, although traditionally you’ll find the price drops towards Easter and savings can always be made for buying in bulk. Ideal if you want to give your warehouse staff a small thank you for working in the cold while you sit in your nice warm office.

If you reckon you could eat 48 Creme Eggs without being sick click and at the latest.

Looks like 48,000 have been sold far.

I saw lots of people posting on facebook about creme eggs being given out for free recently and I think they still are.

I saw somewhere that they will be off sale generally on 31st March. That is always a black day for me. After all I have the long months stretching away until they come back on sale. So a box of 48 might be useful. After all I could ration them at say 1 a week(or maybe 3 every 2 weeks) until they come back on sale. I certainly would not eat all 48 in one go(even for me that would be some undertaking).

However may I make a suggestion. Keep them on sale throughout the year. They tried a year or so ago to market Creme Eggs throughout the year but in a different form. In the form of a bar. I saw them somewhere and tried one. But the chocolate was thick and there was hardly any creme so it was a big disappointment. So Cadbury(or Kraft or whatever now owns Cadbury-Aren’t they made in Poland or somewhere these days?)
Can I ask you to have another try to sell them throughout the year but this time with more creme filler and less chocolate proportionally.

Creme eggs are waste of too many natural resources, and make too many people walk round with sickly grins on their faces. Who wants that?

I thought we weren’t allowed to sell food on ebay?

There is a saying about everything I love is either Illegal, Immoral or Fattening. Certainly Cadbury Chocolate Creme Eggs are Fattening and they may represent a waste of far too many natural resources but surely Cadbury Chocolate Creme Eggs should be forgiven everything once you taste one(I am very tempted to go down stairs right now as I have a few in a kitchen cupboard-trouble is its well after midnight and if I do I will never get to sleep).
