All-In-One Toolkit for Social, SEO & Online PR

By Chris Dawson July 5, 2012 - 9:58 am

We’ve written about iContact several times before on Tamebay, but we’ve not looked at the other services available from Vocus who acquired iContact back in March this year.

Vocus now have a portfolio of products and have also just launched their all-in-one marketing toolkit in the UK, Vocus Marketing. The toolkit brings together a number of tools you might have already heard of, including the press release distribution service from PR Web, Facebook apps from North Social and publicity alerts by HARO, alongside a powerful recommendation engine that helps you maximise returns from your social media, SEO and PR activity.

Many Tamebay readers have experimented with Twitter and Facebook, but I’ve not heard of so many use Press Releases, Facebook Apps (e.g. exclusive coupon or invitations for fans or a deal on your Facebook Page where you can set the number of registrations required to unlock a group discount), and actively looking for real-time media opportunities to talk about their companies and expertise.

Vocus have some great standalone apps, but the marketing suite gives businesses the ability to market their business across the suite of products using the same powerful methods used by agencies while keeping the knowledge in-house. There’s no hard work, no multiple logins and no learning curve: just an easy dashboard that shows you what to do next and how to do it.

If you’re interested in the Vocus marketing suite you can book a live demo on the Vocus website. Alternatively you can sign up for Facebook Apps, have media requests delivered daily to your inbox and submit press releases and send email marketing using the standalone services.
