Webinar: How to get started with Amazon Product Ads

By Chris Dawson May 5, 2011 - 3:47 pm

ChannelAdvisor have announced a joint webinar with Amazon that will discuss the benefits of Amazon Product Ads, that is taking place on 12th May. This is a great opportunity to gain a better understanding of how online retailers can leverage Amazon Product Ads in order to increase sales.

In the past, retailers had to sell on Amazon to reach the marketplace’s huge, loyal audience. Selling on Amazon can drive significant transaction volume, and now Amazon Product Ads can accelerate customer acquisition by allowing retailers to reap the benefits of selling on Amazon while actually completing the sale on their own website.

In this joint webinar, Kristina Wallender, Marketing Manager, Amazon Product Ads and Mark Vandegrift, Senior Global Manager, Shopping Services, ChannelAdvisor, will help retailers understand Product Ads and explore the opportunities and potential of this channel including:

• What results have retailers seen with Amazon Product Ads?
• Which product categories perform best?
• How can a retailer using ChannelAdvisor get started?
• What are the best practices for success?

You’ll need to register for this free webinar following which there will be a live Q&A session.

This pay per click type product appears to be for amazon.com users only at this time. It does look interesting though and is now on my radar as it takes potential buyers directly to the item for sale on the website.

Do eBay offer a similar pay per click type product that utilises an advertiser database to drive traffic to external websites and individual website products?
