Visit IRX and EDX Today and Tomorrow

The doors to the biggest multichannel and delivery expo is about to open so Dan and I are both about to enter the NEC’s exhibition halls to see what’s new, what’s happening and how it’ll affect ecommerce businesses in 2016.

Internet Retailing Expo (IRX) is a decade old and much has changed over that period. Mobile arrived in a rush with retailers and marketplaces scrabbling to get on board and now we’re looking to the post-mobile Internet age and how that will change ecommerce in the future.

eDelivery Expo (EDX) debuted last year and this year is back bigger and better than ever before. Delivery is the first opportunity for a retailer, whether through a marketplace or their own website, to make a real impression on their customer.

Get delivery right and it’s hardly noticed and you’ll get little thanks but likely to have a repeat customer. Get delivery wrong and all hell can break loose with a disappointed customer. We all want that most convenient of deliveries with the item delivered when we’re at home but in reality we live busy lives so the next best pick up or click and collect has to be in the mix.

IRX and EDX is where you’ll find everything to do with online retailing and after the buy button experience. Dan and I will be at the expo for two days so come find us and say “Hi”.

I’ll also be speaking on both days (the same presentation so you’ve two chances to attend). Come along to find out how marketplaces are going to evolve, what this means for your business, how you list, what matters and the essential steps you have to take to stay ahead of the game and how to ensure that your marketplace business has the very best opportunity to succeed in 2016 and beyond.

You can hear Tamebay talk in just a couple of hours at 11am today (Wednesday) and again at 11am tomorrow (Thursday) in the Marketplace Theatre at Internet Retailing Expo. Hope to see you there.

Don’t forget that after the Expo shuts down for the night, Online Seller UK is holding a meetup at the Arden Hotel from 5pm where you’ll be welcomed with a drink, some networking and presentations from industry experts.
