eBay.ie free listing promotion was charged for

File this one under “Oops”. There was a free listing promotion on eBay UK and eBay Ireland last weekend, but it appears that our Irish friends might have been charged on the Sunday in error.

It looks like someone put the wrong date into eBay Ireland and the free listings were only run on Saturday with people being charged on Sunday. eBay have spotted the mistake and are working to credit insertion fees for all qualifying listings from Sunday. You should see the credits on your eBay account hopefully by the end of the week.
