Thanks for the beers! London eBay Seller Meetup

The London eBay Seller Meetup Group sponsored by iwoca was a great success last night with a packed room and around 50 people attending. There was many a beer or glass of wine drunk and after the presentation section of the night the room was buzzing with conversation. It was also great to see some new faces and find out what others are doing to grow their businesses.

The main theme for the evening was “multichannel retailing” and I had the honour of giving an overview on how to choose a multichannel platform partner with Artem and Fedor from Linnworks in attendance to show what a difference a software solution can make to a business.

I’ve never known a company invest in a multichannel management platform without their growth rapidly accelerating. It really doesn’t matter which partner you decide has the best solution for you, the process of automating tasks and the discipline of doing so along with the ease with which you can then launch products onto new marketplaces is almost a cast iron guarantee that your sales will grow exponentially.

The next London eBay Seller Meetup Group date has yet to be announced… it’ll probably not take place over the summer do to the Olympic disruption and the impossibility of traveling around the city but we’ll let you know as soon as a date is set in the diary. Having enjoyed last night’s event though I can highly recommend the Meetups in their new format with iwoca’s generous sponsorship.

(PS Many thanks to the iwoca team for the beers!)
